when I moved my ring off WebRIng and started using RingLink, I deleted my ring on WebRing and they would not delete it. They just removed me from being a manager of it. They may own "WebRing", but do I not own my own ring, itself?

According to WebRing.com you don't.

Now tehre are 2 copies of my ring. I deleted the WebRing one to avoid confusion, but now there is confusion because now I can't een manage it in order to change it's namew to something null and remove all members from the actual old ring, etc.

The recommended way to move a ring from WebRing.com is to remove _the members_, while keeping the ring (with one or two members) as long as they allow you to. Unfortunately it's too late for you to apply that approach.
