Hmm.. Re-running langinstall.pl doesn't help in your case either (I just did that).

That would indicate that the reason for your problem is the same as for Ed. Accordingly, I'd suggest that you try this setting in rlconfig.pm:

    $rlmain::DBM_File = 'SDBM_File';
