Yes, in a sense. But the messages still end up on your harddisk.

I have just enabled SPF checking at the gunnar.cc server, and to get an example of what happens, I sent a message to myself via my ISP's mail server, pretending to be Pete. Since Pete hasn't included my ISP in his SPF record, the message was bounced, resulting in the below undelivery notice to Pete.

Note the convenient link to an spf.pobox.com page with a verbose explanation of what happened.
