I was just looking at the DNS modification pages and there is the capability to add a "TXT" record. That is where the SPF description should go!

Yes, at http://sender-policy-framework.org/txt-supporters.html they have this for namecheap:

"namecheap.com allows users to configure TXT records in their hosted DNS."

and this for enom (and another for eNom?):

"They do support SPF records in their own DNS entries for their own mail servers, but that feature is not available through their generic DNS services. In other words, you can't add a TXT entry to your own domain's DNS record. Only publish the SPF TXT record in their own DNS and they don't check the SPF records of incoming mail."

But then these records are not up to date, seeing that gunnar.cc is not listed ;-)

Everyone seems to use enom or eNom if not directly?
All my domains if through HostingByUs or directly are with eNom...

sender-policy-framework.org has:
record creators - - - DNS checkers - - - Record validators - - - Headers checker

What is the purpose of the Headers checker as far as SPF is concerned?

"SPF is free software, developed by a group of professional programmers in their spare time, because they were tired of getting false e-mails."

Well, I'm certainly tired of getting false e-mails or being embarrased when people I know get spam shown as being from me, as I think most are, so hopefully SPF will not remain as merely a "Internet Geek" thing for long?
