You wouldn't need a POP.
An alias would work.


I was probably unclear.

I need to have my mail collected somewhere. If that somewhere would be an AOL account, yes, then I agree. But if I would have my mail collected on a POP account somewhere else, the AOL email address would get redundant considering what we now know about SPF.
