The site-id isn't typically a number, but rather a name or

I always thought that the definition "Site-id" is confusion to the
user.
Confusion? In what way?
Whereas we know that this is realy what it is, a site-id. Almost
all access on the internet use the standard
user name (alias) and password.

Everything in the program can remain the same. The only change
would be the displayed text on the form. Simply re text the Enter
Site-id with Enter your Login name.
Since the Ringlink site ID is not only a login name, but also used as
a key in all the navigation URLs, "login name" would be a less
accurate term. How would a less accurate term cause less confusion?

See, this is what I mean. We as programers and experienced users fully
understand site-id and its use. However most of my ring users are dog
fanciers and stop dead wondering what a site-id is. The login name text
is just what they are used to using on most login sites. No one that I
remember ever used site-id as the user login name term. In essence I am
thinking of a large group of internet users that are familiar with login
name/password concept. Everything in ringlink would stay exactly the
same
except the form text. If you wish to elaborate more at the input line you
could display like this..
.......
(This will be your site-id and password for all functions in Ringlink.
Use any alphanumeric arrangement, no spaces or punctuation allowed.
