ring's statistics?

Hi,

If a ringmaster were to list his or her ring in the Ringlink webring directory using the ring's (../home.pl?ringid..) url, so as to see directory hits reflected in their ring's statistics, could they use that url with just the 'ringid', or would they also have to include the 'siteid' as it appears say within their ring's navpanel for the home site?
