Only the html files in the template folder can or should be edited using a html editor.
If you must edit any other files when doing your customizations for your new Ringlink System, then please use a perl/text editor to do so (The Ringlink Team would also be interested in knowing what these customiztions were, so that they could be considered for addition to the template files).
PS: Editing any program files other than the 'template files' or the 'rlconfig file' will make upgrading to a newer version of the Ringlink program a far more complicated experience.
