I have a question about installing the latest update of ringlink.

I'm tring toinstall the program on a server that is setup to deny
access to the cgi-bib. Anything that is in the cgi-bin, cannot be
accessed.

I suppose you mean that files in the cgi-bin cannot be viewed via a browser.

I haven't had this type of problem before, with my other servers,
and support is not sure what is going on.

Why is it a problem?

Do all the files that are normally stored in the cgi-bin,( as the
program is downloaded) have to be placed in the cgi-bin, some where
on the server ?

Or can they be in a directory that is called something else, (
named "test" directory) as long as the ring's links, points to them
?

This is discussed in the readme.html file. But before changing anything, I'd suggest that you try to explain in more detail what the problem is, i.e. what is it that you need to do that you cannot do.
