How many rings are you planning to host on the same
Ringlink system?

Presently about 100 in 100 categories (1 for each.).

Will there be enough of them to motivate an
implementation of categories?

Well some ppl might want it :)

Talking of categories, I'd like to remind of the
Ringlink Webring
Directory at http://ringdir.ringlink.org/, which is
a central directory
for Ringlink webrings on any Ringlink system. The
Ringlink Webring
Directory is maintained by a human, which ensures a
quality far above
other similar directories. And it's divided into
categories, of course. :)

Yup saw it. I think I have really gone crazy (as my
friends say), always taking the most difficult route,
though finishing first always uptill now ;)
I never gave this a though that I can define
categories and rings in Directory and link them from
there. As soon as I thought I need categories, and
simply jumped to how to make a built-in webdirectory
inside a ring ;)
Then no need to add fields in site also, can make a
poll system to accepts site-ids and record them ;)

So far there are way too few rings listed in the
directory. Let me
encourage all of you to register your own rings, and
if you are hosting
other peoples webrings on your Ringlink system,
please encourage them to
register.

Sure when I start them. Planning for Jan 2003 at
present or next 2 days ;) Exams start from 24th dec.

/ Gunnar
