Hi,

Yes, I recently had the same 'langinstall' problem, but then I cheated and solved the problem by just copying the files in the mo directory from another Ringlink system (Demoring System, which goes to show being a Ringlink developers has it's advantages even if you do not know what you are doing)), and then uploaded these same files to my mo directory. Everything worked perfectly after that!  :-)

nope, that didn't work.  Also I double checked and made sure all the
permissions are set right and it still doesn't work, I even
reuploaded the files and forced it to ascii mode instead of the auto
and then double-checked all the permissions and I'm still getting the
500 error.  And I don't think I have access to the raw error log, so
I can't see if it mentions any errors.  Although I did run the perl -
cw langinstall.pl from the shell and it still comes back saying
syntax is ok.
