To say the least. Glad you mentioned it, I wanted to but couldn't
think how to phrase it succinctly and politely.

I can't help but think about the hours on end I spent in college writing
a simple MUD in BASIC for the Apple ][. The amount of just coding
(not to mention the planning that you pointed out) required for a job
like this is certainly not a volunteer effort.

This is the true joy in life:

- Being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one,

- Being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap,

- And being a -force- of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of
ailments and grievances - complaining that the wo
rld will not devote itself to making you happy.
